Thoughts from the Principal Consultant

High Standards

Moving from higher education into the business world, I was skeptical of whether I could maintain the ethical standards I had developed in my undergraduate studies of the humanities. In fact, I've been able to build a career around supporting socially and environmentally responsible ventures.

High Skill

Likewise, my master's degree in the social sciences and education equips me to observe people and processes. Much of this information about business practices is not available in writing. I've been able to share the patterns I've observed with business founders getting into a variety of industries.

High Tech

After graduate school and building my first company, I returned to school to study math and science, culminating in more specialized training in computer engineering. Together with editing biomedical journal articles for many years, this experience makes me conversant in the language of deep tech commercialization.
